It is good to mention that with a secured card, you should focus on building a credit and minimizing costs for owning a card.

Thus, the best advice is to find a card with a minimal annual fee and a minimum APR. Check if the card offers a grace period – some don’t. It helps when you have 20-25 days free of interest to manage your money flow.
