Cons

  • Not the greatest rewards rate

Verdict

Very close to Barclaycard Arrival, Venture One offers more for everyday purchases (1.25 vs. 1 mile) and less on travel and dining (1.25 vs. 2 miles). Considering Barclaycard's 10% miles back for travel, we would recommend Barclaycard Arrival instead.

If you prefer greater rewards, look out for a Venture Rewards card with 2x miles on everything but $59 annual fee
