Editors Review

Pros

  • no annual fee
  • 2-3% on high rewards categories
  • $50 bonus
  • no international transaction fee

Cons

  • there are other 5% Amazon cashback cards available today

Verdict

The card is good if you do a lot of Amazon shopping. It also helps that it gives you 2% on popular spending categories: gas, pharmacy, and dining. In addition, a good approval probability with an imperfect score and no annual fee makes the card a good choice for an everyday card.
However, if you really like Amazon purchases as I do, you can find better rewarding cards today.
First option is a Citi Forward card that gives you 5% on entertainment and books, and Amazon is still a bookseller if you have forgot.
Another good option for Amazon shopping is to buy Amazon gift cards with your Amazon Rewards Visa and get 5% cashback on it.

Finally, the biggest kickback is - you get a 6% cashback if you use an AmEx Blue Cash Preferred card to buy Amazon gift cards at a groceries store
